Hi! I'm Mike Stringer.

Throughout my work, what I’ve focused on most is creating conditions for people to thrive. I co-founded and led the data science consultancy Datascope from 2009 until we sold it to the design firm IDEO in 2017, where I stayed on through 2022 as an Executive Director and Partner. Since then I’ve worked independently, most recently as a fractional director on personalization at a large tech company.

Over the last fifteen years I’ve partnered with clients across industries — Google, Procter & Gamble, Steelcase, Bristol Myers Squibb, and over fifty more. Through that work I’ve observed patterns that shape how I think about human-centered design, applied AI, and the organizations that make it all work.
